At the same time it doesn’t need to be shy of the top-ranked European stage races either. Its only drawback is lack of alpine altitudes. However, instead of never-ending slopes, the Beskids answer with its unpredictable wilderness, lurking and really demanding trails, which wait for versatile riders that don’t back off even from ever-changing weather conditions that Beskids are famous for. Just to name a few, like Stozek or Wielka Racza – hallmarks of the race which gives goosebumps to those riders who have experienced them before.
For some it’s a matter of pride to overcome this hurdle, for others its unfinished business and reason to come back to nail it down. Clearly, winning this race is a matter of willpower and the way of tackling crises during the race. Those with tough mental equipment are predestined to overcome adverse race situation which the Beskids features aplenty.
