The participants visit unique places during the stages. On the highest mountain of the Owl Mountains, the Wielka Sowa (Great Owl), there is a dead forest that was created by mining and gives an impressive look at the environmental problems this causes. A number of single tracks lead through this unique, dreary landscape. This is combined with steep climbing over nearby ski slopes and technical tracks through dense forests. The Wielka Sowa will return several times during this event, on the last day a time trial will be held to the top.
